What we need on the night……………………………
SPACE;……….ideally we need a minimum floor space of around 5m X 3m, this is about the size of an average domestic garage, so it’s not a big space. A flat even/dry floor, under cover, this is important if your having a marquee , we can’t set up on grass/gravel/dirt .
ELECTRICITY ;………… 4 X 13 amp sockets .
ROOM to change……..if it can be arranged, somewhere comfortable were we can change into our stage clothes and leave our belongings secure.
REFRESHMENTS………..we wouldn’t stipulate, but we may well have left home in the afternoon to get to your venue, and late when we get home, so, some light food/ tea/coffee is very much appreciated.
BACKGROUND MUSIC……..we always bring with us the facility to play CD’s MP’3s etc through our PA system, and we bring a selection of CD’s with us or you’re welcome to bring your own favourite tracks if you wish.
HOW LONG DO WE PLAY…………we’re quite happy to be flexible, but most clients ask us to do 2 sets, usually an hour or 45 mins each, and that suits us fine. As for overall times, our basic charges are based on arriving 7:30pm ish and finishing for Midnight. If you need us for longer than this, this would be reflected in the price.
PAYMENT………..yes, we need to be paid ! Seriously, cash on the night, on arrival please, sorry, we are not able to accept cheques on the night, if you think you might have enough to do on the night, pre-payment could always be accommodated.
BAND PERSONELL…………it’s rare, but anyone of us could fall ill, so we reserve the right to bring a dep. On the odd occasion.
DISTANCE……….we’re based in East Manchester/Oldham area, so anywhere in the Greater Manchester, Cheshire, North Wales, Merseyside, M62 corridor , is our regular stomping ground, but do ask, as nothing is out of the question.
COST………..the price we charge will depend on what is asked of us, (esp. distance/v.late finish/long hours etc) but generally we believe we’re very competitively priced.
